W is for Work in Progress.
I feel like I have many manuscripts that fall into the “work in progress” category. A few manuscripts I am sharing with my writing group and others can not be seen by anyone yet! Continuing to write, even then manuscripts are in the submission phase and you are waiting to hear back, work on another story, magazine article or blog.
There comes a point where you have to get new eyes on your work. A fresh set of eyes to make suggestions and ask questions, keeps the momentum going. You can then come back to the story with the critique and continue to make it better. Each version, every revision, counts as part of your work in progress.
Do you write multiple stories/pieces at a time or do you stick with one at a time? Wishing you the best of luck on your own work and progress pieces.

I feel like I’m always in a work in progress state. I really need to just settle into one thing and finish it.
