Christina Dankert is a children’s book author, elementary educator and literacy enthusiast. As an educator, she believes books are a beautiful way to continue to learn and grow. She believes all children should be able to find themselves in picture books. It is through children’s literature and reading to the children in our lives, that will change the world.

Chad Dankert is the illustrator of The Kindness Machine. He is a creative director and storyteller. As a child, he grew up doodling on all of his papers in school. Similar to book character, Mr. Wilson, he believes design, art and creativity can help engage people and bring them together in meaningful ways.

What began as a bucket list item from before they were married, turned into a covid silver lining. As husband and wife, they were able to merge their two professions of educator and artist into a meaningful product to help spread kindness with their debut picture book,
