Knut: How One Littler Polar Bear Captivated the World
Written by: Juliana, Isabella, and Craig Hatkoff and Dr. Gerald R. Uhlich
The story of a polar bear cub born in a zoo and taken care of by a man named
Thomas, his foster father. Children will appreciate the photographs of the cub. They will also relate to stories of him learning to swim and having his teeth come in.
“Together, we can take small actions that will lead to big change. If we all do our part to help save the polar bears’ natural habitat – and all natural habitats – we will give Knut’s story a very happy ending indeed.”

Sounds like a very interesting a worthwhile book. What age group is it for or did I miss that?

I believe the text would be for older students (4th-5th grade). However, the pictures are engaging and the story could be enjoyed by younger children with support from an adult.
