The Dot

Vashti is frustrated in art class. Her teacher encourages her to simply make a dot. She does. The teacher asks her to sign in. Vashti is frustrated until she walks into class the next day and sees her art surrounded by a gold frame. Seeing it inspires her to try harder. She makes lots of beautiful dots, experimenting with mixing color and sizes. She ends up inspiring another future artist. The power of one positive person who offers encouraging words or actions is beautiful.
