Working through the alphabet and sharing some of my favorite picture books.

Cob and the Kingdom
Written by: Leigh Ann Hughes
Illustrated by: Stephanie Weinger
Puny names such as Sir Pop and King Kernel kick this story off! The village hold wonderful celebrations but they are lonely because they can not leave due to a dragon at the bottom of the mountain. Sir Pop goes to slay the dragon. This misunderstood monster and Sir Pop figure something out together and there is a laugh out loud adorable, clever ending!

The Christmas Book Flood
Written by: Emily Kilgore
Illustrated by: Kitty Moss
Based on an Icelandic tradition of gifting one another books for Christmas Eve, staying up late to read and enjoying chocolates, this is sure to be a favorite. A cozy, feel good book to get you thinking about what book would you buy your friends/family and just how much chocolate could you eat all throughout the night?

Please support these authors by purchasing their books, requesting from your library, leaving a review and/or telling another book lover about the book.
