And just like that…the 2025 A to Z Blog Challenge has come to an end. Thank you for reading and I hope you found a couple new nonfiction picture books to share with the little (and big) readers in your life.

The World Is Not a Rectangle: A Portrait of Architect Zaha Hadid
Written & Illustrated by: Jeanette Winter
As a young girl, Zaha loved the different shapes found in nature. She worked hard in school and became an architect. No one wanted to build her unique designs that pushed the boundaries and were not squares. Over time, building and after building became a reality all around the world. Although she has passed away, the beauty of her buildings live on in the physical buildings and the architects she left behind. They continue to bend the rules just like she showed them.
