The Invisible Boy
Written by: Trudy Ludwig
Illustrated by: Patrice Barton
No one seems to pay attention to Brian, other classmates take up more space and time. When a new student, Justin, joins their class, he notices Brian. His special talent is put in a spotlight and celebrated. A great reminder to notice those around us and to really pay attention.
The illustrations compliment this story so perfectly. Brian starts out as a black and white sketch. As he becomes less invisible, his character is sketched in color.
